Strong Growth from International Brand Management and Branded Industrial Goods

Companies are once again making major investments in brand development.

Dr. Alexander Haldemann, a partner at MetaDesign in Zurich, believes there are clear reasons for the increased activity: “Due to the growing complexity of markets, companies are facing the need to formulate simple, clear messages. The most important question is how brands can be given crisp contours and strengthened across a variety of cultures.”

The new awareness of brands is reflected in the numerous new clients – including Migrosbank, Lufthansa, BenQ-Siemens and Deutsche Messe AG – that MetaDesign has acquired over the past few months. In early January, Deutsche Post World Net hired MetaDesign to ensure consistent international brand management for its DHL and Deutsche Post brands.

“Our offices in Zurich, Berlin and San Francisco are all reporting above-average growth. A striking trend is the growing number of industrial goods manufacturers who are recognizing the power of brands. As most of the projects of still confidential, though, we won't be able to publicize them until the fall of this year,” adds Dr. Alexander Haldemann.
