Seven wins for MetaDesign at the REBRAND 100® awards

This year’s REBRAND 100®, one of the most important international branding competitions, has awarded seven prizes to MetaDesign for its strategic repositioning and redesign work.
The rollout of the new brand for COUNT + CARE GmbH (formerly ENTEGA Service/
among the largest measurement and accounting services in Germany) won a “distinction” award from the international jury’s 10 members. Furthermore, MetaDesign, the leading agency for corporate identity and branding, won awards for the following rebrands:

“Merits” were given for the redesign of Audi’s visual appearance and the successful rollouts of new brands for Commerzbank, the ERGO insurance group and Hannover Airport. In addition, MetaDesign also received a “merit” for the repositioning of Walser Privatbank and a “notable” for the rebranding of the Swiss engineering and planning company Basler & Hofmann.

“We are especially proud of the REBRAND® 100 awards we won. It is one of the most distinguished international competitions in the world. But even more important: the jury takes a close look at the long-term benefit for the brand. In the end, the deciding factor is that the rebranding reflects the brand’s strategy so that it can reach its true potential,” said Bruno Schmidt, member of the executive board of MetaDesign Zürich.

REBRAND 100® awards are among the most coveted of their kind recognizing the world’s most effective redesigns for companies and institutions. An international, multidisciplinary jury evaluated the brand before and after its redesign and its strategic objectives. Not an easy task stated jury member Sajag Patel, CEO and creative director of Breathe Branding from the United Arab Emirates: “It wasn’t simple to select the present winners from all the fantastic work that has been developed over the last months.”
The 2011 winners are from over 32 sectors in 34 countries.
