Alexander Haldemann has worked and lived in Asia, Europe and North America. He was educated in Switzerland and studied International Management. Alexander completed his doctorate at the University of Zurich.

A member of MetaDesign’s Executive Board for over ten years, Alexander consults clients in strategic branding and communication issues. He continues to be involved in academic research, giving lectures on brand strategy at business schools around the world. Alexander speaks German, Italian, and English.

Sean Ketchem studied in Austin, Texas and completed his doctorate in 2003 at the University of California, Berkeley. Since then, he has been working at MetaDesign as a strategist for clients ranging from global companies, technology start-ups, to cultural institutions. His clients include Coca-Cola, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Kohler, Johnson & Johnson, Chevron, and Four Seasons.

Through research, Sean Ketchem helps MetaDesign gather insights on customer needs in countries around the world. He has lived and worked in the United States, Europe and Asia. He also speaks English and German.

Pilar Manjarrez graduated from New York University with a degree in political science. Before joining MetaDesign in 1996, she owned a commercial photography studio where she worked alongside designers and art directors for financial and high-tech companies such as Adobe, Apple, Bank of America, HP, Motorola and Siemens.

At MetaDesign, Pilar heads up operations and human resources working with clients, consultants, and MetaDesign project teams. She has lived and worked in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

With over 12 years of brand strategy and consulting experience, Frank H. Vial has helped create, evolve, and manage well-known global and emerging brands such as Adidas, Chevron, Citi, Kia, Motorola, Panasonic, PepsiCo, Taco Bell, Taj Hotels, and Wrigley.

Frank has worked and lived in Asia, Europe and North America. He was educated in Germany and studied corporate communications management. As partner to our clients and member of MetaDesign’s management team, Frank leads our strategic programs and relationships. Frank speaks fluent German, English and conversational Japanese and Spanish.

Stan Zienka has practiced graphic design for over 16 years on assignments based in North America, Asia and Australia. He graduated with a BFA in visual communication from Auburn University. His area of expertise is in branding and developing identity systems.

As Creative Director, Stan works closely with the strategic teams to develop conceptual foundations upon which to direct the design team. His goal is to create innovative designs that are unique in the marketplace and satisfy the client's business needs.

Prior to MetaDesign, Stan was with ATTIK San Francisco, creating design solutions for clients such as Adidas, Adobe, Coca-Cola, Lucas Arts, NFL, Sony, Toyota and Virgin Mobile. He is also an instructor in the graduate design department of San Francisco's Academy of Art.
